A week ago I posted how we identified 3 immediately relevant pivot paths within one 5 hours workshop for a real company, called โACME 1โ (see link to post in comments).
A few days after the workshop, I checked in with the team:
At that point, they already had aligned with their board and they have re-prioritized their roadmap, based on the workshop results (which, by the way, also included another 7 patterns to experiment with and to be explored).
What made the workshop a success for them?
Three reasons were named as crucial, by the team:
2. With the underlying pivotal framework, they got
This aligns with my own experience: most founders in pivot situations struggle with the huge number of ideas, opinions and interests of different parties.
They can not see the forest for the trees anymore.
For ACME1, a very focused, structured, external support in form of one workshop was enough to get things sorted out for the time being.
On that note: I have three open 3 spots for tech founders in March.
If you feel uncertain about your startupโs future, DM me โpivotโ & I’ll take it from there.
